Plans and Objectives of KCCI

The chamber ever since its inception has been active in trying to achieve the following objectives:

Chamber's Objectives

  1. Strengthen the national economy through management and promotion of local, national and international trade.
  2. Safegaurd and enhance the interests, rights and privilege of the business and industry groups.
  3. Forward opinions and recommendations on the policy matters, acts and laws, plans and programs related to economic development of the district as well as of the whole country.
  4. Mediate on the issues of disputes related to the trade and industry.
  5. Extend Mutual understanding and cooperation among the organization with compatible objectives.
  6. Strengthening the capabilities of its members through providing the trainings, seminars, interactions, meetings and observations.
  7. Protecting and promoting trade and industry
  8. Developing the network with local, national and international organizations for the benefit of business community and society.
  9. Organizing the fairs and exhibitions for the promotion, publicity, market identifications of local and regional products.

Chamber's Short-term Plans

  1. To explore and study the chambers of commerce and industries.
  2. To establish the sub-committes for conduction of Chamber's activities effectively.
  3. To organize timely trainings for the working committee and member industrialists.
  4. To establish HandiCraft Showroom.
  5. To establish and conduct Information Centre & B2B E-commerce Unit.
  6. To collaborate with local resouces for the development of district.
  7. To publish Chamber's bulletin.

Chamber's Long-term Plans

  1. To search the international as well as international market for Herbal Product, floriculture, non timber forest products.
  2. To establish Dhangadhi ( a center-point of Far West ) as an icon city.
  3. To promote Organic Farming.
  4. To recognize the areas of employement and decrease unemplyement.
  5. To insist for the establishment of Cold Store and Dairy Industy.
  6. To promote the handicraft products.
  7. To organize fetes and exhibitions.
